Welcome to the Ideal Siding Franchising Inc. (“Ideal Siding”, “we”, “us” or “our”) privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”). We handle Personal Information in accordance with the privacy laws and regulations applicable to us, including the Personal Information Protection Act (British Columbia).
This Privacy Policy governs the access and use of our website (the “Site”) by any individual or entity (each, a “user”, “you”, or “your”).

1. Definitions and Interpretation
“Aggregated Information” means information that has been made anonymous or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify an individual, whether alone or in combination with other information.
“Contact Information” means information to enable an individual at a place of business to be contacted (e.g., name, position name or title, business telephone number, business address, business email or business fax number).
“Personal Information” means information about an identifiable individual (e.g., name, address, email address, phone number). Personal Information does not include: (a) Aggregated Information; or (b) Contact Information, provided that it is processed solely for the purpose of communicating with that person in relation to their employment or profession.

“Services” means any of our services for which you wish to engage us to provide.
As used in this Privacy Policy, all references to “including” herein will be interpreted as meaning “including without limitation”. Words importing the singular include the plural, and vice versa, and words importing a particular gender or neuter include both genders and neuter. Section headings used herein are for convenience of reference only.
2. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please review it periodically. Unless otherwise provided by Ideal Siding in writing, any amendments to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon posting to our Site. Your continued use of our Site after we post any amendments to the Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of the amendments and your consent to abide and be bound by the amended Privacy Policy.
3. Why We Process Personal Information
We may process Personal Information to fulfill the following purposes (collectively, the “Purposes”):
(a) to respond to your inquiries;
(b) to provide you with siding quotes;
(c) to connect you with the local Ideal Siding franchisee serving your area;
(d) to provide our Services;
(e) for internal statistical and operational purposes to better understand how our Site is used;
(f) to improve our Site and Services;
(g) to market our Site and Services, including measuring and improving our advertising and, where you have requested them or where otherwise permitted by applicable law, sending you promotional communications;

When you interact with our advertising or with our pages on third-party platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn), we may receive referral and campaign source data, information about your interactions with those advertisements, and demographic or professional profile information. We use this information to measure and improve our marketing and, where applicable, to identify and connect with prospective franchisees.
(d) Other Information. We may collect such other Personal Information to the extent necessary to fulfill the Purposes.
5. How We Collect Personal Information
There are three primary ways that we may collect Personal Information: (1) when you provide it to us through your access and use of our Site, and/or your communications with us; (2) when it is automatically collected from you through your access and use of the Site; and (3) when we receive it from a third-party source. We further describe these situations below:
(a) Provided by You. We may ask you to provide Personal Information to us: (i) when you wish to contact us, such as when you utilize the “Contact Us” feature on our Site; and (ii) when you wish to receive a quote for Services.

(iii) Third-Party Tools and Tracking Technologies. We and our third-party providers use the following tools and technologies on our Site, which may automatically collect Personal Information:
(A) WPForms (Lead Capture & Form Validation). A WordPress form plugin that validates unique user interactions with our estimate forms to prevent broken data transmissions or accidental duplicate entries;
(B) WhatConverts (Marketing Attribution & Call Tracking). Lead tracking software that links a user’s landing page history, referral path (such as a specific Google Search or online advertisement), and geographic location data directly to their submitted quote requests or local office phone calls;
(C) Meta Platforms, Inc. (Social Media Advertising & Analytics). The Facebook Pixel identifies local homeowners interacting with our brand from Facebook or Instagram and monitors user actions to optimize localized retargeting ad campaigns;
(D) Google Ads / DoubleClick (Paid Search Conversion Tracking). Measures the precise conversion rates and visual performance of our paid Google Search campaigns while collecting data to power behavioral retargeting;
(E) LinkedIn (B2B & Franchise Recruitment Tracking). The LinkedIn Insight Tag monitors demographic and professional profile insights of Site visitors, primarily utilized to target and convert prospective franchisees or local installation partners;
(F) Google Analytics & Adobe Analytics (Traffic & Behavioral Analytics). Compile high-level usage datasets, including page-by-page interaction times, visitor volume statistics, bounce rates, and cross-site navigation trends;
(G) Cloudflare (Security & Bot Management). Monitors incoming web traffic to block malicious threats, prevent quote form spam, and maintain server uptime for local users; and
(H) Vimeo (Embedded Video Player Infrastructure). Evaluates server playback stability and saves viewer parameters (such as sound volume and resolution settings) for embedded project videos and homeowner testimonials.
(c) Third Parties. We may also obtain Personal Information from third parties. Such third parties may include: third-party service providers, analytics providers, social media networks, including their plugins, embedded content, lead generation tools, and similar features. We protect such Personal Information according to the practices described in this Privacy Policy, plus any additional restrictions imposed by the source of the Personal Information and applicable laws.
6. Consent for Processing Personal Information
We will not process your Personal Information without your consent, unless we are permitted or required to do so by applicable law. Consent may be express or implied, depending on the nature and sensitivity of the Personal Information. The type of consent we may rely on in processing your Personal Information will vary based on your reasonable expectations, the sensitivity of your Personal Information, and the circumstances surrounding the collection of your Personal Information. (a) Service Providers. We may disclose your Personal Information to the extent required to fulfill the Purposes, including to our third-party service providers. For example, we may use third-party service providers to help us analyze usage of our Site, track the effectiveness of our marketing strategies and communications, assist with the prevention, detection and investigation of potentially illegal acts and security breaches, collect and process error and crash reports, and store data. If we provide your Personal Information to service providers, we limit the information to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and our contracts with them require them to maintain the confidentiality and security of such information.

We will verify your identity in order to process requests to exercise any applicable rights. If we cannot initially verify your identity, we may request additional information to complete the verification process. Any Personal Information you disclose to us for the purposes of verifying your identity will solely be used for the purpose of verification.
